Evacuations and extractions
When civil unrest, conflict, a natural disaster or a security incident puts people at risk, organisations need them out quickly and quietly. We arrange evacuation and extraction flights for corporate, governmental and non-profit clients, working alongside your security providers or ours, with aircraft and crews able to operate into the airports still open.
Medical flights and repatriation
For patients who cannot travel on scheduled services we arrange dedicated air ambulance aircraft with medical crew and equipment, commercial stretcher transfers where appropriate, and the ground ambulances at each end. Repatriation after illness or injury abroad is coordinated with insurers, hospitals and families.
Crisis management and contingency planning
The best time to plan an evacuation is before it is needed. We prepare contingency plans for organisations with people in higher-risk locations, covering trigger points, assembly points, aircraft options and permits, and we hold a 24-hour line for the moment a plan has to be activated.
Discretion and compliance
Sensitive movements are handled by a small team on a need-to-know basis. Every flight is screened for sanctions and regulatory constraints, permits and clearances are obtained through the proper channels, and the aircraft and operators we use are vetted to the same standard as our charter work.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly can an evacuation flight be arranged?
Depending on the location and the airports available, aircraft can often be positioned within hours. Where an organisation has a contingency plan in place with us, activation is faster still.
Can you fly into conflict zones or closed airspace?
Only where it is legal and an operator is willing and insured to do so. Where an airport is closed we plan for the nearest open one and the ground movement to reach it.
What is included in an air ambulance flight?
A suitably equipped aircraft, a medical crew matched to the patient's condition, coordination with the sending and receiving hospitals and ground ambulances at each end.
Do you work with insurers and assistance companies?
Yes. Medical repatriations are frequently arranged on behalf of insurers and assistance providers, and we are used to their documentation and approval processes.
Can you put a plan in place before anything happens?
Yes. Contingency planning and retained support are part of the service for organisations with staff in higher-risk locations.
