ACMI and wet lease for airlines
When an airline needs capacity it does not have, whether for a seasonal peak, an aircraft on the ground, a maintenance programme or a new route it wants to prove before committing fleet, we source aircraft on ACMI or wet-lease terms. The lessor provides aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance; you provide the schedule and the passengers.
We cover regional turboprops and jets, narrow-body and wide-body aircraft, for a single rotation or a season, and we handle the regulatory side, including the approvals needed to operate another carrier's aircraft on your flights.
Group, event and team charter
Tour operators, incentive travel, conferences, sports teams and touring productions all need aircraft at times and places the scheduled network does not serve. From nineteen seats to several hundred, we arrange the aircraft, the catering, the ground handling and the schedule, and we stay on the flight until the last passenger is off.
Replacement and recovery flights
If an operator fails, an aircraft goes technical or a schedule collapses, we find a replacement within hours and get passengers moving. That includes sub-charter for airlines and recovery flights for tour operators and event organisers with people stranded abroad.
How it works
Tell us the route, the dates, the passenger numbers and any constraints such as slot times or airport curfews. We come back with aircraft options and a fixed price, confirm the operator and the aircraft, and manage the operation through to completion with a 24-hour operations desk.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between ACMI and wet lease?
In practice the terms are used interchangeably: the lessor supplies the aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance, and the lessee pays for fuel, handling and fees and sells the seats. A damp lease is similar but the lessee supplies cabin crew.
How many passengers can you accommodate?
From small regional aircraft for twenty or so passengers up to wide-body aircraft for several hundred, and multiple aircraft when a single one is not enough.
How much notice do you need for a group charter?
Weeks of notice gives the widest choice and the best price, but we routinely arrange flights within days and, for recovery flights, within hours.
Can you arrange charter from airports without scheduled service?
Yes, provided the airport can handle the aircraft type. We will advise on the most practical airport for the group and the destination.
Do you work with airlines directly?
Yes. Airlines use us for sub-charter and ACMI cover, and we are set up to work within their operational and regulatory requirements.
