The Group

One conversation, the whole journey

A private jet removes the terminal, the queue and the timetable. But a journey also depends on what surrounds the flight.

Who meets you, how you move from the apron to the car, whether the destination has been properly assessed, and what happens if plans change: handled by separate suppliers, those details can add friction. Handled by one coordinated group, they largely disappear.

That is the thinking behind the wider Oryx Global group. Oryx Global Aviation sits alongside Oryx Global, a London-based organisation working in crisis management, risk management, intelligence and special operations, and alongside Oryx Black Edition, which arranges private client services for individuals, family offices and corporate clients. Together they cover the flight and everything either side of it.

One Contact

It starts with one point of contact

Instead of briefing an aviation broker, a security provider and a concierge separately, a client can set out what they need once.

Oryx Black Edition describes its role as planning, securing and delivering the things that are difficult to arrange and impossible to get wrong: movement, protection, property, people and time. One standing brief and one team means fewer calls, fewer handovers and no need to repeat yourself.

The Aircraft

The aircraft, chosen without bias

Oryx Global Aviation is an independent charter broker with no fleet bias.

It works through a global network of vetted partners to match the right aircraft to each journey, with dedicated contacts available around the clock. Because it sits within the group, the choice of aircraft, airport and departure time can take the wider picture into account from the outset. That includes the security considerations at the destination and the arrangements waiting on arrival.

On Arrival

Seamless from the moment you land

Arrival is often where a journey is most exposed, with a change of vehicle, a public environment and unfamiliar surroundings. This is where the group’s different strengths come together.

Chauffeured vehicles. Black Edition works with drivers and vehicles it trusts, in the cities and resorts its clients actually use, so the car is simply there.

Close protection. Oryx Global provides personal close protection in the UK and worldwide, led by founders with more than 45 years of combined military and security experience. Black Edition’s protection services are run by career operators. For the client, protection is planned alongside the flight, from who meets the aircraft to the route and the fallback options.

Helicopter transfers. Where time matters, Black Edition arranges helicopter charters from city to slope or door to event, typically within hours.

The result is a discreet, low-profile arrival that feels unremarkable, which is exactly the point.

Before Departure

Knowing the destination before you go

Good travel begins with good information.

Oryx Global’s risk management and intelligence capability allows a destination to be assessed before an itinerary is confirmed, covering the security picture and the practicalities of arrival and departure. That insight shapes decisions that are invisible to the traveller, such as which airport to use and when to travel, but it makes the journey smoother.

Beyond Travel

Beyond the journey itself

Many clients want more than transport.

Black Edition also arranges yachts and charters, villas, tables and rooms that are not otherwise available, and a concierge service answered at whatever hour you send your request. Its Alpine Concierge Experiences run the mountain end to end, by the week or by the season, so a winter in the Alps can be arranged as a whole rather than as a series of fragments.

When Plans Change

A team that already knows you

Oryx Global Aviation was founded on crisis-management work begun in late 2021.

Its Specialist Support service covers extractions and evacuations, including medical movements, as well as crisis-management planning and response. When something unexpected happens, such as an airspace closure or a sudden need to move, a client can draw on a team that already knows them, their plans and their preferences.

The Oryx Perspective

One team, one plan and nothing to chase

The best private journeys feel simple because a great deal of planning has gone on behind them.

Within the Oryx Global group, one half of the work is planning for everything, and the other half is making it feel effortless. Oryx Global Aviation provides the aircraft, Oryx Global provides the protection and intelligence, and Oryx Black Edition provides the services around the journey. For clients, that means one team, one plan and nothing to chase. Wherever you are heading, we aim to make getting there the easy part.
