The rest is knowing which operator to trust, which airport will actually take you, and what to do when the first plan falls through. That is the work Oryx Global Aviation was set up to do.

Our Foundations
Built on crisis management
Oryx began in late 2021 as a crisis management business.
Our first job was getting things right when the stakes were highest and the timelines shortest. That heritage still shapes how we work: aviation, security and precision, brought together for high-value operations where there is no second chance.
Private charter grew naturally out of that work. The skills that move people out of a difficult situation at short notice are the same ones that make an ordinary trip run smoothly: checking every operator, planning for what could go wrong, and having a fallback ready before it is needed.
Who We Are
Career aviation professionals, acting for the client
We are not tied to any single operator, so we can recommend the right aircraft for the trip rather than the one we happen to own.
Oryx Global Aviation is run by career aviation professionals: charter brokers, aircraft sales specialists, commercial operators and flight operations staff. Between them they have decades of experience across private, commercial and cargo flying.
We work through a global network of vetted partners. We act for the client, and we will tell you plainly what is available and what is not.
What We Do
Private, commercial and cargo, with specialist support behind them
Five lines of work, each drawing on the same discipline of vetting, planning and fallback.
- Private jet charter. On-demand flights from turboprops to ultra-long-range jets, including short-notice and time-critical trips.
- Private jet sales. Independent support when buying or selling an aircraft, from sourcing and valuation to inspection and delivery.
- Commercial charter. Group movements, peak-season capacity, ACMI and wet-lease, and replacement aircraft when another operator lets a client down.
- Cargo charter. Time-critical, heavy and outsized freight, including humanitarian missions and remote destinations.
- Specialist support. Extractions, evacuations and medical movements, backed by crisis-management planning.
Where We Fly
A global business, run from London and Lagos
We operate worldwide from our head office in London, with a West African office and sales team in Lagos.
Recent work has included:
- Europe: business travel between major cities, the Alpine ski season and the Mediterranean summer.
- Europe to Africa: corporate and private travel across the continent, where airline options on business routes are often limited.
- Europe and the Middle East: private and corporate travel, and repositioning when regional airspace changes.
- Long-haul cargo: time-critical freight between Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
- Anywhere else: if there is a suitable runway, we can find a way to get you there.
Wherever the trip starts, the process is the same: a dedicated contact, available 24 hours a day, who stays with the flight from first enquiry to landing.
And when time is short, we move fast. Clients typically have workable options within hours of their first call, including when another operator has let them down at the last minute.

One group, one team adjusting the whole plan
Oryx Global Aviation is a trading name of Oryx Global Limited, a London-registered consultancy working for private, corporate, government and non-profit clients.
The wider Oryx group brings together specialists in aviation, security, risk and premium client services.
For private clients, the most visible part of that group is Oryx Black Edition, our concierge company. OBE looks after the wider journey: accommodation, transfers, experiences and the details around the flight.
The group structure matters to clients in practical ways. A charter can be planned alongside the hotel, transfers and itinerary. A trip into a difficult region can be planned with people who do this for a living. And when something changes, one team adjusts the whole plan.

The people leading Oryx Global Aviation
The company is led by a team spanning executive, aviation and non-executive roles.
